I designed our house with a few set backs and pop outs specifically for a natural transition from the cedar to stone. This strategy, combined with going all the way to the roofline with the stone, makes the materials feel more authentic rather than “applied.” Don’t you agree!?

Stone was one of the hardest, scariest decisions for me but once I found the Casa Blanca Rough Cut stone from @eldoradostone, I knew we found a winner! We did a white sand white cement mix and it looks perfect with the color of the stone as well as the cedar. Check out our stories for more shots! ⠀

A few weeks ago our stone from @eldoradostone arrived and these cuties helped to unload it. Stone was supposed to start last week but due to freezing temps at night, we decided to hold off. Next week looks promising though so you will see some progress really fast! And by that I mean, the guys think they will be done with the stone install in 3-4 days 😱 They did a sample for us a few days ago that I shared in stories, but swipe to see it in case you missed it!⠀
